Once upon a time … there was a very old, mysterious pottery on an odd corner of the market place of Poperinge. Many years later we, a slender knight and a merry lady, transformed this unique piece of regional patrimony into a quiet townhouse. We turned it into a frequently visited gastronomic château where we celebrated our fifth anniversary last year.

In these turbulent and hectic times, we transformed the small Greek amphora, originally used to preserve wine, into a giant vase, as a symbol of joie de vivre, friendship and overture amidst a culinary paradise of exclusive dishes. Dear Customers, we hope that your taste buds will still remember our praised monthly menus, our excellent business lunches and our varied specials.

A new year has come. Being young inhabitants of Poperinge, we want to spread the news about our fairy tale through town and region. We want to expand our vase geographically. We bought an old park at the Veurnestraat; it houses a unique castle in a magnificent, wooded area. Hof ter Daele is een oude gerestaureerde hoeve temidden de Westvlaamse polders, aldaar bekend onder de  naam Bachten de Kupe. Een lange oprijlaan scheidt het Hof van de openbare weg waardoor er een veilige rust heerst.op het domein. Enkel de aanwezige boerderijdieren zorgen er voor aangenaam geluid. s'Avonds is er absoluut geen lichtvervuiling waardoor het zicht op een spectaculaire sterrenhemel kan worden gegarandeerd (bij open hemel). 

In de gerestaureerde hoeve Hof ter Daele werden de vroegere stallingen heringericht als 3 studio's, 3 appartementen (capaciteit 4 tot 6 personen) en 1 kamer. Een totaal van 34 personen kan op die manier worden geherbergd, en dit het hele jaar rond.
